Today's special is adventure! Go out and have a nice springtime adventure. Explore a park you've never been to. Have a nice bike ride. Hang out with Internet folks you've never met. Do something wondrous for yourself! Bonus points for childlike wonder.

It's a gorgeous day, so today's adventure will be going back up on the roof. Think I'll bring my camera this time--the view is fantastic. Hoping that washing the dropsheet will make it less slippery, as it was showing an inclination to cooperate with gravity last time, which was great for the adrenaline rush but not so good for the production rate. Have fun at the meetup!

Today's Special: I watched the football at lunchtime. Bad result :-(

Then a wander round North Chingford and Chingford Mount, looking in the shops, buying a couple of bits.

This evening: finishing off the work I wasn't able to finish yesterday.

Today's Special: shoveling a ton of snow that we got yesterday. There may be some snowballs involved, maybe even a snowman.

Bonus Special: Another attempt at sourdough bread. If this batch flops like the last, then the starter my sister-in-law gave me is probably no good and I'll have to start over from scratch.

Today's special: A car show outdoors at a city park with a lake. It was hot. I pimped out about $100 in raffle tickets in about 20 minutes. I sold hot dogs, burgers and sodas. I tried valiantly to sell people a banana for a $20 donation to the organization I worked for. (It was a fundraiser.) Nobody bit.

Today's special: a day trip up to the mountains of northeast Georgia. (And I forgot my damn camera... argh.)

It was gorgeous up there. The dogwoods are still blooming up in the cooler elevations.

Today's special -- cleaned out the garage, followed by picking up tree debris and weeding out baby seedlings of giant ragweed at my church. I am exhausted.

Yesterday was very special. :) very special indeed. Lots of child-like wonder involved.
Today is shaping up to be even better (despite the fact that I have about 2 hours work to sqeeze in somewhere!)
