You know what I hate? When you're snagged, unpredictably, the ONE TIME you go out of your way and do it.
(Like when people scared of elevators step into one and RIGHT THEN, out of millions of elevator rides, that one goes wrong. Or more common, you lie about where you are--just this once--and suddenly you have to add half a dozen lies to keep the social timeline in other people's heads intact. Aarggh.)
