Seriously. We've been swamped here, and I'm fucking sick of it, as I'm sure the farmers are as well. I just had two guys dig a ditch in my yard for a new sewer pipe because there was only a 20% chance of light rain, and the goddamn ditch got washed out in a sudden storm, complete with marble-sized hail.

Jeebus. I know! I went in on Monday, we decided it was too cold, so I did about 1/2 hour tidying up from some interior stuff I'd done (work I was saving for, well, a rainy day). Still hadn't warmed up, so I headed home. At which point it decided to hail. For the second time in a week. What the fuck?

Luckily, my uncle's wife was making waffles when I showed up, so at least I got waffles. And a cup of my uncle's thunderfuck coffee.

Good lord, don't make the rain stop where I live. We need it, we CRAVE it, we gotta have it. We have been on serious water restrictions for quite some time, and we cheer whenever we see the reservoir totals rise. I say let the rain stay!

And on preview, elizard, may I have permission to use the term "thunderfuck coffee"? I usually call mine weapons grade, but I like thunderfuck SOOOO much better.

Ha! When I read your post title, I added "FUCK YOU" in my head.

I was hoping for some nice Portland spring weather as a send-off, but it's been freezing and raining and just awful since, well, since October. (I'm so lucky I get three weeks in Florida before I head off to England!)

It has been, like, 15 degrees below normal here in the northwest for the past week or so. It's getting very old. . .

Plus I have a bad cold, which I went home from work with yesterday. Having a cold IN the cold just sucks.

msali, on behalf of the Pacific Northwest and the Canadian southwest coast, I give you permission to take all the rain you could ever want. And then some. You would have our eternal gratitude (as per danf's & Specklet's comments). I also personally grant you the use of the term Thunderfuck Coffee TM to use in reference to your own spoon-melting brew in perpetuity.
