I bought my first pair of cowboy boots! And of course I'm prancing about the house.→[More:]I've been planning on wearing them under my wedding dress (they're "something blue"), unless I find that they're too stiff or something.
Very lovely! I had a real pair, and I wore them to death. Many moons ago. I sort of asked for a gift certificate to the boots place* here for some rememberance holiday recently, but no, and that's ok.
*The only place to get real boots here is called, no lie, Myrna's Boots N' Bits.
Yay, nice! Love the idea of wearing them under your dress... I'm clinging to the idea of a short dress partly so that I can buy some seriously kick ass shoes and show them off.
I've always just used white athletic socks, except sometimes in the winter I'll wear wool. As long as they're marginally thick (i.e., not dress socks), you're probably fine.
