"Crack is wack."

You know, I always remember this wrong, as if it were a Barbara Walters interview.

"Crack is wack, Barbara. Crack is wack."

And note, for Whitney, the trouble with crack is not that it might kill you or that it can facilitate a debilitating addiction. Oh, no. Her issue is that crack is beneath her.

Maybe crack is beneath her, but I think meth was the wind beneath her wings.

Another thing ...

One of the fringe benefits of living where I do, in a northern suburb of Atlanta, is that (until recently) there was always the remote possibility of a Bobby & Whitney sighting. They lived in a mansion at County Club of the South, which is just around the corner. The Atlantic Seafood Company -- site of one of their infamous restaurant blow-ups -- is only a couple of miles away.

But that's all over now ... mostly.

It's a shot similar to this (or, at least, she's wearing the same dress).
