Shake it out, shake it out... I just had my phone interview for an assistant professor position. I have no idea how it went. I think it went OK, but it was very short (5 people on the other line, each asked one quite in-depth question then I asked questions).
→[More:]I was prepared for all the questions except one (my biggest professional challenge) but I think I dealt with that OK. They had to stop me at one stage because I was enthusing at all the undergrad neuroscience courses I could teach. I also feel a little bad because I only asked 3 questions at the end, and I had about 20 written down, but I kind of freaked out and said "that's it". But I did ask if I had any more questions who to email or call, so I left it open.
Whew! I'm so glad it's over!!!
