There is a story I could tell. Which would involve me looking at the right-hand-bar of metafilter.com and realising that however witty I believe my last comment was, I'll never get anything marked with 60 favourites. God damn you Miko. God damn you and your excellent answers.

Is it in poor taste that every time I read her screen name, in my head I hear the chorus of the Peter Gabriel song "Biko", only with Miko being sung in place of Biko?

Y'know what I hate? When I make a comment that I think is funny, and no one favorites it.

And then I'll make a comment and it'll get inexplicable favorites. It often happens when I ask serious questions.

I like how either I can sit down and write up a parody song about metafilter and spend a couple hours recording it and then post it to Music and if I'm lucky someone will be so amused by it that they'll post a metatalk thread about it

Miko can just talk for a few paragraphs about something she knows.

Holy cow! Whatever is this all about!

Typing words is fun, and I like it. It is much better than getting work done! I wish I could do nothing but read and learn cool stuff and then type stuff all day. But heavens y'all. I am not very cool in real life, don't worry. Cortex has met me, he knows. You all have more awesome in your little fingers.
