I could use a few whuffles of my own →[More:]
So I don't know if I mentioned it here, but I asked about it on the green. In a nutshell, on Valentine's Day, I went blind in my left eye. Two months later, and I have been considered idiopathic for the condition...until today. My doctor called me to inform me that one of the myriad blood tests I had performed over the past two months has come up positive for a coagulopathy (basically, my blood doesn't clot like it should). No biggie, except that he had me come in this morning to run a bunch more tests, because the particular coagulopathy I have is generally associated with Lupus. 2008 Officially Sucks(TM).
If my in-laws weren't coming into town this evening, I wouldn't be posting here, I would be on my way to the liquor store to pick up a bottle of vodka.

Thanks for the whuffles, y'all. This is what I was diagnosed with, and although it isn't the end of the world, it certainly isn't pretty. I also have other symptoms suggestive of Lupus, which although is far from a confirmation of actually having the disease, certainly doesn't make me wanna celebrate. I am just feeling a little sorry for myself today. Metachat has once again stepped up to save the day. Muchas gracias, Virtual Bunny Friends.
