Here is where I was this morning It was a perfect day→[More:]except for the last hour when I tore a muscle and now my leg's not working right.

Except for that it was perfect. I am completely happy, leg notwithstanding.

Get it? Notwithstanding? Hehe. And it was an accident when I typed it too. Yup, boy, should I have been in bed long ago!! Good night all.

I miss the northern California Coast. I used to spend a lot of time further north from there at Salmon Beach and Goat Rock among others. Sigh... Looks beautiful... gimpy.

Pretty! We finally got some rain, so no complaints there. However, it would be nice to see the bright firey thing again. Everything's blooming madly.

This morning I was at the gas station to fill up Mrs Slack's ride. The view wasn't quite as nice as this.

yup I was surfing at Dillon and actually managed to catch a long long wave :)

That's a banner moment for me- I'm a truly terrible surfer.

what kind of break? since it was a long ride, is it a point break?

Oh never mind. .I google earthed it. .right at Point Reyes, looks like a beach break. .not only that but RIGHT ON TOP of the San Andreas Fault, as it goes out to sea. Must have been SO cool!

Definitely a beach break. And long, I suspect, is relative :)

It's downsides are weird currents and a reputation for great whites. I think the last attack was 12/06 or so. (I surf in the shallows so I don't stress too much about it.)

I feel your muscle pain. I managed to do something similar to a muscle in my neck over the weekend. I hope your leg feels better soon.
