New shoes! [More:]
For the first time in years I've bought a pair of heels. Usually I buy this style, for comfort, to wear with jeans, but I'm thinking of looking for a new job, which will probably mean a more corporate look.

I went to Marks & Spencer today at Bluewater, because M&S has just brought out a new range of shoes with something called 'insolia', which is a gel insole designed to shift the weight to the heel, and thus make the shoes more comfortable.

Well all the insolia shoes were crippling to me, but I found these, which are fabulous and so comfortable. Unfortunately they're not leather - I don't normally wear synthetic shoes - but I won't be wearing them every day. I'm wearing them now to get used to them. They look, um, interesting with sweatpants.

They remind me of tap shoes. Hot!

Cute! I like the shiny. And the heel. I think they're open enough that their syntheticity(?) won't matter much.

I think they're really cute. I started wearing heels to work recently, and it makes me feel super-awesome.

Those are cute. I like thick heels like that, they seem so much easier to wear all day than teeny ones.

I've used insolia shoe insoles before(here you can get them separately, too....)

I found them VERY comfy, and they're the only way I can wear 3" heels, but they need to be very specifically positioned. There's an obvious ridge on them that should be RIGHT in front of your heel. Which isn't going to be the same place for everyone, even among the same shoe size. I noticed it wasn't even the same position for me from foot to foot! I can imagine having them built in, where you can't adjust the position, would be problematic.
