Radio Mecha Demographic Survey One thing that would be helpful, as a broadcaster, is knowing when people are likely to listen. I used to do a lot of late night (for me - early AM for Europeans, I think) shows, but I stopped because no one was listening. You folks who are interested in listening - when are you likely to do so? [More:] In the interest of clarity, I guess we should probably have folks give times in terms of GMT.
In the interest of my lack of time-conversion ability, I'll give both local and universal times. :-)

M-F 7am to 5pm Pacific
Sat-Sun 8am to noon Pacific

M-F 2pm to midnight GMT
Sat-Sun 3pm to 7pm GMT

Good idea, bmarkey - in order to get people casting, we need to know when people are able to listen. We probably need a poll, and a time chart. If we can't get people playing to listeners, then the radio's going to go bye-byes. I'm still thinking about solutions to this, and this post you've made was one of my ideas.
My times are Mon to Fri, 7:30pm to about 9pm PST (3:30am - 5am GMT) and Sat and Sun 8am to about 11am (sometimes later) PST (4pm - 7pm GMT). Sometimes Sat and Sun nights too.

12-2pm Australian EST.. so that's 2-4am GMT, if I'm getting this right.

Yeah yeah, don't mind me...

Generally, if I can listen, it's during the early evening say 5-10PM eastern (EDT). In GMT, I think that's 9Pm-2AM. Lately the chaos of the house is such that it is increasingly unlikely that I get to do so, unless the show has a pre-announced theme I'm especially interested in. In such cases I can take some quiet time to listen (or blast it loud through the house so I can hear).

I'd like to listen when I'm at work.

At work for me, too. So that's 9am-5pm EDT or around 1pm-9pm GMT?

I'd at least potentially like to listen during most of my waking hours.

I'm almost always asleep between, say, 2 and 6 am CST (7 am - 11 am GMT), though.

Judging only by my own broadcasts, it seems like the most listeners appear between, say, 7-10 PM PST and 7-10 PM EST. It's evening in America again.
