Blatant self-link: Tomorrow, April 4th, will mark 40 years since the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Since January, I've been working on CNN's
documentary about the event, which has its first airing tonight at 9 PM Eastern.
→[More:] It'll repeat over the weekend (US and Canada) and should hit the international side this weekend, too, though I'm not sure about times.
I edited three of the segments in this show: one in the first hour dealing with how the FBI/J. Edgar Hoover harrassed King while he was alive, and then two segments in the second hour talking about some of the conspiracy theories around King's death (one segment basically sets the theories up, and the other debunks them).
So, if any of y'all care to tune in this evening, I really think you'd enjoy it! I learned a hell of a lot working on this one.
Note that the page I linked to has video/audio which autoplays when you open it... nothing obnoxious, but sorry about that.
