I feel sorry for the poor cat but at the same time I am very tickled by this.

I once was working on the floors in the house I owned in the early nineties and pulled the heating grate off the floor. One of our cats took the opportunity to climb into the ductwork and wouldn't come out. You could hear her walking around under the floor for hours until she slid down to the furnace in the basement. It was summer so there was no danger of baked cat and I could just pull the access hatch open and grab the dumb cat.

Poor kitty. I hope they get it out soon.
