AskMecha: Other mean names for women? My brother is trying to think of what other nasty names/phrases women call each other. So far he has muffintop and butterface, but he swears that there is something else that is kinda similar to muffintop, but isn't that exactly.
Seriously, not a trap. My brother heard his girlfriend refer to someone as having a muffintop the other day and he was quite confused until she explained it to him. He asked me if there were others and the only one I could think of was butterface. His gf is the one who started all this, heh.
The question is a little vague- "butterface" is an insult- "She's a butterface". "Muffintop" is a thing- someone has a muffintop, it's not really an insult so much as a crass phrase.
I've heard men use these phrases as often as women do, especially butterface. People just like making fun of each other and enjoy pointing out weirdness caused by crappily-fitting clothes.
A few more:
whale tail - when the thong shows above the waistband
uniboob - boobs smooshed together by bra
quadraboob - bra too small, cuts boobs in half
tramp stamp - the lower back tattoo
oompa loompa - tooooooo fake tan, too orange. Made famous by the Gotti boys (and Willy Wonka of course).
Yeah, in fact I've never heard a woman refer to another woman as a "butterface" - it's always men talking about women (specifically, whether they'd have sex with her).
Also, what is muffin top? It sounds kind of like the quadraboob, but it could also describe a wardrobe malfunction involving the belly and 'love handles.'
Cootie Cutie - she's cute but you do not wanna go there.
8 Head - she's got an extra large forehead.
Tammy Fayce - she wears way to much make-up.
Also - Chickenhead.
Also: calling someone a Monet. When they're one of those people that from far away looks really beautiful, but up close they're a messy disaster.
And my girlfriend once cracked me up by calling someone "front butt." He was built so oddly and his pants fit so badly that this was the only phrase that could possibly describe him.
Sorry, work got in my way. I was joking about the trap...seems like only a fool would wade into a thread that asked for pejorative terms for ladies. This is the INTERNET people. THINGS DON'T GO AWAY!
Now, I'd like to say that I'll be using "ass antlers" from now on. That's wicked! Also, chickenhead.
My contribution? I've heard, but not uttered, the term "bunt" to refer to a bum, in front.
Anyone want to whip up a Greasemonkey script for deleted MetaChat threads?
Metachat threads are deleted for good, unlike Mefi ones which linger on, hidden. If you really wanted to track deleted threads, I imagine subscribing to the posts RSS feed would work, since they'll appear in the feed and hence be stored on your computer before they're deleted.
My brother has said that it was FRONT BUTT/GUNT/FUPA is what he was trying to think of. However, ASS ANTLERS caused quite a ruckus at work and at the dinner table this evening.
