Oh, that is nice, eekacat. Our computer has the revolving nature photographs that the Mac provides. Closeups of blades of grass and river rocks and bamboo and flowers. Stuff like that. eekacat, your wallpaper sort of reminds me of the feel of the photos I have.

This is a collage thingy I made as part of a playtime with seanyboy where we would trade back and forth, art and poems, using each other's work for inspiration. Of course I didn't follow up with continuing that, wonderful procrastinator that I am, but I did manage to do this. (click for big)

I usually opt for minimalist too because with multiple programs open the background becomes an obstacle. I use a program that allows me to hide all my icons too. Right now I am using this photo to help get me motivated to paint my office.
