I'm rockin' the nerdcore here. Black silk dress with pineapple jacquard print, grey tweed jacket with black suede patches, awesome black/yellow/white argyle tights, spiffy platform mary janes, my "buddy holly" glasses (a colleague has dubbed them this), a librarian bun, this necklace, and this watch.

That sounds like a cute outfit! I'm comfy/lazy today. I have on b/w plaid flannel drawstring pants that look like pj bottoms, a black velour hoody, black Christian of Project Runway-type reading glasses, and white and silver flats. I don't really hardly ever wear jewelry though...it's too exhausting trying to find and keep stuff.

Jeans, belt, wool socks, crocs, wool hat, wool scarf, stetchy grey undershirt, Fifer's Day t-shirt (local town holiday from where I grew up, sponsored by ABC Cesspool) from 1986 that my Mom gave me and I will wear as often as possible until it falls apart on me, orange fleece pullover. Pretty much a generic Jessamyn-in-wintertime outfit (what's that you say? It's spring according to YOUR calendar? Oh really...). It's laundry day.

Navy blue T-shirt, grey sweatpants (ancient ones I've had for about ten years), black socks, white panties, lilac slippers and a blue hoodie jacket from The Omega Institute, which was given to me by a friend who's a director of the place. Jai Kudo glasses, two rings, AA necklace and chain, teeny-diamond & gold leverback earrings. The jacket is far too big but is great for slouching around the house.

(Disclaimer: It's a Bank Holiday today and I just woke up from an afternoon nap.)

I'm at work, so: beige 3/4 length sleeve jacket, grey v-neck knit top, aubergine ankle-length linen skirt, beige pumps, some jewelry, and my hair is always in a bun.

If I was off work: jeans and a knit top or sweatshirt depending on weather.

It's "jeans are allowed" day at work, and I'm trying to save my nicer outfits for fun stuff next week, so I'm looking kind of slouchy in an outfit of jeans and a sea-green cable-knit cotton sweater that I keep wanting to like but somehow just... don't. But it's comfy.

And tan suede loafers that don't quite work with it, but I didn't realize that until I got to work. It really needs cowboy boots, which I think would perversely make the whole thing a little more dressy. Or planned. Or something.

I'll all slinky today. Black, tight scoop-necked boob shirt, swingy black striped lycra skirt, knee-high kick-ass black Doc boots. Black turtleneck in case I get chilly. Black tights, red lipstick, black-and-white striped reading glasses.

Black 3/4 length sleeve cashmere sweater with white lace trim, black scoop necked 3/4 length sleeve shirt, black v neck long camisole, maroon polyester lingerie look (straight cut, just below knee length, high slit on left, black lace trim) early nineties skirt, black undies, black transparent stockings, black combat boots. Black mens' watch, black rubber hoop earrings, emerald stud earring, amethyst ring, jasper ring, amber ring, moonstone ring, pink plastic bracelet with real japanese beetles in it, black rubber tire bracelet.

It's one of those hard to get dressed days where I'm going to do a lot of different things in a lot of different temperatures. I realized this morning in the mirror though that this outfit may be getting a little on the young side for me. I've been wearing it or some similar variant for most of my life now, but, sigh, is it possible that one eventually outgrows the Punk Rock Princess look?

I'm a nau girl today (because Boy gets to go skiing this weekend and I don't! pout! pout!): glasnost jacket in grey, zip front wool shirt in grey, and accoustic pant in grey. Low-heeled waterproof boots. I can pretend I'm going skiing too!

OK, so this is kind of hilarious. Y'all've caught me sporting a housecoat that I bought to wear ironically (at home!). However, its $5 price doesn't belie the quality (i.e. lack thereof) or fit (again, very unflattering).

So yeah, I look like crap in a meant-to-be-ironic housecoat. If it explains things a bit better, I'm doing laundry.

I need to do laundry too! I had a little trouble getting dressed because everything was in the laundry bag. I have a charcoal ribbed turtleneck, black boot-cut yoga pants, and ballet flats on. I'm happy with my outfit. Also, I wore a new coat to work (the old one is filthy). My coworkers think it's cute, but it's not warm enough. For the snow falling outside. Boo...

Black Fred Perry velvet zip-up jacket with white line on sleeves. Black T-shirt that reads "rude girl" in red (knock-off, bad quality bad print, kinda fake fred perry logo in the middle), black cheap gym-pants with white stripe on sides. Black Hello Kitty socks.

I have a cold and this is what I sleep in. If I meet anyone in the laundry room I can pretend that I'm dressed.

i'm wearing what was closest at hand when i was unclothed: long sleeved dark salmon(?) shirt with tiny things glued to one side in star shapes (did not buy it), loose dark pants, i'm guessing black.
i'm glad to see my need to do laundry has gone somewhere useful.
