Unless Carlos Castaneda is working the cold line, that is.

Thank you, Miko. I myself have been wanting to say this to the Restaurants of the World.

We have aforementioned mix of greens coming up in our garden right now, along with harvestable amounts of spinach and chard. Though a mescaline harvest might be more fun.

I heart mesclun. I buy it from Costco who packages it as just 'spring mix'...

Oh, way to blow my whole lunch. I mean, couldn't you even use a spoiler tag? ;-)

Right. Copious vomiting is not something that should follow a salad course.

I can think of a couple of business lunches I've attended that would certainly have been enlivened (and probably have remained as productive) by heaping bowls of mescaline.

I flet my phantom 'favorites' clicking finger flinch when I read that comment, bmarkey.

mrmoonpie, I just walked through one of the gardens at my job, and I discerned small spinach leaves peeking up! Not bad considering we just lost the snow cover only about a week ago.

I was just thinking about this earlier! Probably because I was picturing my little brother the first time he ate mesclun greens. He sat there staring at them and said, "But they're, like, leaves."

I don't know what he would have said if it had been mescaline in his salad bowl.
