They were born that tragic moment when science made its great mistake... now from behind the shroud of night they come, a scuttling, shambling horde of creatures destroying all in their path.

Sounds like the last stragglers at a meetup. Though less with the scuttling, more with the laughing. Definitely with the shambling and the destruction.

That movie is hysterical! Giant wabbits savagely bunnying people, menacing the town, attempting World Domination!!!

One of the Best.Movies.Evar for drinking and mocking the filmmakers.

I saw that movie as part of a 24 hour film festival in the wee hours of the morning and it made quite an impression on me.

I saw this in the theater, when I was a kid. They had giant rabbit prints painted on the sidewalk leading into the theater. Not a great film, as I recall.
