Don't you hate it when you let someone else's reactions affect yours? [More:]I came from lunch to a spazzed out and pissed off co-worker and immediately reacted in kind out of some kind of. She's gone for the day and left still upset.

I wish I'd risen above it. It would have been much more productive and would have kept the harmony of the office.
oops- "reacted in kind out of ...some kind of automatic defense mechanism..."

The thing is that I KNOW she's going through a lot of personal stuff and her mood's off. Bah.

Yeah, but it's hard sometimes not to react back when someone comes at you like that. I've been there, probably on both sides, yet I still can't control my impulses.
