MuddDude and I were just talking about American Psycho, and specifically how the backlash against 80s "Me-too-ism" led directly to the slobbish man-child stereotype of the 90s, which so-called-metrosexualism blacklashed against in the '00s. Really, there's no difference between the "metrosexualism" of 2004 and the power-suit-set of the 80's, except that instead of business card envy, there's bluetooth envy.

Uh...sorry, I don't know where that came from.
