Given that you have recently created seriously awesome tv in The Wire, I think you should do this the same way.

Get unknown actors; let us become obsessed with the magnificent characters. Let the viewers work as hard as the readers have had to to catch all the clues - we know they are willing to do it.

George, you are going to have to get off your fat blogging football watching arse and a) finish the series and b) go David Simon this project over at HBO.

This may mean that you significantly need to raise your game. We know this is possible, because you moved from the shitty hackery of your science fiction work to this impressive series.

So get to it. Now, before HBO decides to go back to shitty television.
