1. closing ye olde bookstore today, opening it tomorrow. I need to DTMFJ and find one that pays better and/or gives me some professional development.
2. I feel creatively stuck at the moment; I have two webpages and two top-to-bottom logo treatments to do and am stuck.
3. my camera flash came, is delightful. I have family visiting from the States next week so I might get my Amazon on again and pick up some other stuff, cheaply.

Things that make me go "eek!"

1. I'm back at work, after a week off.
2. I forgot that I'd left my work shoes at the repair shop while I was gone, so I'm actually wearing a (fairly butch) pair of Science Girl's shoes tonight.
3. I seem to have re-aggravated a pinched nerve in my left arm/shoulder, yet again.

1. My printer has decided that it doesn't want to cooperate with reinstalled XP. This of course, means that I can't make PDFs or scan anything. :(

2. I'm feeling an odd sense of loneliness tonight. I feel lonely most of the time, but it's just recently come to my attention that I'm rarely physically alone.

3. I think my father is finally starting to understand my want/need to go to bed at 9 when I have to work in the morning. I like my 10 hours of sleep, goddamnit.

1. I need a vacation.
2. I will have one at the end of next week (Spring Break).

1. I saw The Bank Job tonight. I liked it. It was very entertaining. I am still shocked that this was based on true events. I also can't believe John Lennon bailed Michael X out of jail, donated hair for auction, and paid for his attorney. I had no idea who Michael X was until tonight.

2. I had sirloin Marsala, garlic mashed potatoes, the house salad, and the house red at Carrabba's tonight. Yes, it's a chain, but it's still delicious.

3. Hubby is buying us tickets to watch the Red Sox play the Rays as I type. Yay!

1. I got to leave the office at 1.00 pm
2. I got to leave the office early only to deliver a presentation about the continuous improvement cycle (aren't I lucky)
3. I have to start a new job application tonight.

1. I am going to attempt to make Yorkshire Pudding tonight, for the first time ever. As a result, the rest of the day at work is really seeming just like a PITA thing-in-the-way.

2. I want to plan a vacation, but I have jury duty, and I don't know if that will run on.

3. I think that, given the number of neices and nephews I now have, my sisters should each be obliged to spend three days a year at some boring-as-fuck, inconveniently located celebration of my choosing. And they should bring food of my choice.

1. Having a rough time at work, and it'll last at least for the rest of this week, possibly into next.

2. The cats are reacting nicely to the now-undivided house, which is great to come home to.

3. reenum's thread from last week got me reading the Tao te Ching again, which I hadn't done in years, and the timing of it couldn't be more perfect. So, thanks reenum.

2. the ouchies from losing Betty are slowly un-ouching. A new puppy has been reserved from a litter born on Feb 25. Arrival at the chewie house is estimated toward the end of April. :D We got an update this AM I shall share in a separate insane post!
