Hehehe, this is from the woman who makes fried butter, so I'm not surprised.

Haah...how do you fry butter?

What I love about a calorie-controlled diet is that nothing's off-limits! I can still eat anything! Including this!

Assuming I spread it across three or four days.

Just looking at that made me feel ill.

How about Paula's deep-fried Mac. Mac & cheese, wrapped in bacon, breaded and deep-fried.

Every time I see one of Paula Deen's shows, I think of Patton Oswalt's bit about the "angry food" at Black Angus. ("Bend over, Abigail May, 'cos HERE COMES THE GRAVY PIPE!!!")

At Black Angus, your name is Peaches.

OMG fried butter balls - I can feel my chest starting to tighten just thinking about them.

Then of course you have one of Elvis's favorites, the Fool's Gold Loaf, a loaf of bread hollowed out and stuffed with peanut butter, jelly and bacon.

I love Paula Deen SO MUCH. At the beginning of her show there's now a voiceover of her saying something like, "grab a stick of butter, y'all!"

I would like to note that I am not interested in the donut burger or fried butter ball recipes. She has some recipes for traditional comfort type food that are great.

Has anyone here eaten @ either of her restaurants in the Savannah area?

You have to jump through a few hoops to eat @ The Lady & Sons, but it's totally worth it. Uncle Bubba's Oyster House makes a mean dish of shrimp & grits as well.

And I love the way she adds a couple of w's to the way she says "Ya'll" - it comes out sounding like "yawwll", and it just makes you want to melt.

I heard Paula Deen is about to launch her own celebrity fragrance. It's going to be called "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter".
