Well, since most, or actually all, of the women I have "known" have been unable to orgasm via only penetrative sex (as the article puts it), this does not surprise me. Although the entire "session" should last a bit longer.

Fits with my view of the world. Like danf said, the whole "session" should last (a lot) longer. But yeah, non-stop penetrative sex for more than a quarter of an hour? Yawn. And, ouch.

Agreed. Sex, from foreplay to post-orgasmic cuddling, should definitely take longer than that (insert disclaimer about various moods and situations and quickies being fun and sometimes you want McDonalds cheeseburger sex, etc.). But the penetrative part absolutely should not take longer than 15 minutes. Freaking ouch.

Can we make any assumptions from the fact that it was 25 minutes between rainbaby's 1st and 2nd comments and 7 minutes between her 2nd and 3rd? (I am so blushing right now).

I have also observed that 13 minutes is the standard length (without commercials) of an episode of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" or "Robot Chicken". Adult Swim, indeed.

My SO's have observed that one can't have TV (commercials coming on) while trying to get down with me as I'll get distracted and stop. There, now I've overshared. I stop for great ads! How sad is that? I mean sheesh, the bald eagle hook up and then dive to their death and as the ground comes closer and closer and closer.. They won't stop until they're done
