Sounds scrumptious. I'm mentally filing this away for a future party idea. We invited a bunch of friends over a couple of years ago for a games and pizza night, and everyone made their own pizzas. It was great fun - drinking wine and making and eating and sampling each other's creations was so much fun that we never got around to playing any games.

Now I want a brick oven in the backyard but for some crazy reason my husband thinks that's silly. He's way too practical.

I went to a dumpling party for New Years' once. With the Chinese Evangelical Christian community in Des Moines. I didn't realize the Evangelical part until the testimonies and hymn sings in Mandarin. It was culturally very interesting, though. And the dumplings were good.

I want to attend this party. Maybe when the house is fixed, and I can have a housewarming?
