I just saw a (positive) review of that this morning, and it was the first I'd heard of it. I had no idea they'd stuck together after that reunion tour.

The only album I've ever bought by a "reunited" band was that one the Stooges did, that was so awful. But I may have to check this one out...

they do. I heard the first single on KEXP. Sorry to say it was a meh. I liked the second-most-recent L&R much much better.

the album leaked onto the internet a couple of months ago. it's not of the same caliber of, say, the sky's gone out or burning from the inside (or even my favorite album of theirs, swing the heartache: the bbc sessions), but it's pretty good. it'll have to do - from what i understand they decided to break up once and for all after this album was released.

I've never listened to their music, and it amuses me to no end how many of their fans have never heard of Walter Gropius.

On a lark, we saw them open for...someone (oh god, that's right - NIN) a few springs ago, and it was just sad. Nostalgic, but sad. Peter Murphy was wearing what looked like a girdle under his open white shirt. I enjoyed it - but in that "man, I'm old" kind of way.
