I made some vegetable broth last week, and the pot looked so nice I had to take a photo:

One of the dried Shitake mushrooms came out of the pot when I was done looking really cool, so I took a photo of it. The background is a white plate, so no photoshop trickery here (which would be way beyond my skill level regardless):

When I was a kid, I developed a fruit allergy that went away when I was in my teens. I love fruit! And then the stupid allergy came back when I was 26 or so but luckily went away again about a year ago.

BP, I love the picture of the beer with the bowling alley in the background, that's truly awesome. The colors are fantastic.

misskaz, that's the nicest looking pierogi I've ever seen.

I'm on this 3 week diet, and I can't eat just about anything I've seen (except my vegetable broth), and this is tempting me sorely. It's OK though, only 9 more days...
