This song has been getting a lot of airplay recently. I think it's great, I love the retro sound of it and the lyric is so simple I can caterwaul along to it in the shower or the car.

Oh, I love this - I saw it on Jools last week. I was telling Specklet about her, but I'm not sure if she checked her out. Duffy's album is out Monday, IIRC. I'll have to get it.

there was a great article about her in one of the weekend Independants, theDonF, can't remember if it was Sat or Sun. She sounds really, really interesting.
Love the voice too!

I wonder why Britain is so obsessed with 60's American soul these last few years? Not that there's anything wrong with it. It's just curious to see these trends.

The opening sounds like "On Broadway". I noticed some lyric rip-offs but everybody does it. She has a good sound. I like it.
