My long dark nightmare of self-doubt is over! I got into Film Studies MAsters programs at UCLA and USC, after being rejected by all UCB, UCSB and UCSC last year, gaining weight, being down-in-the-dumps, and getting rejected again by UCSB. I thought teaching high school was a forgone conclusion! Nope! I get to move on to hoity toity academia! WOOT!
