I've been watching MTV's My Super Sweet 16 (old NYT article). Most of these kids are just awful brats, which makes watching the show like watching a car accident.

My favorite so far is Geri Hormel, granddaughter of the inventor of Spam. She didn't want a car for her birthday - she wanted an exotic animal. So they went to look at Alpacas. Her party was themed as the Rock Horror Picture Show, with midgets and drag queens. Now I want a party like that!

I feel the same way about "Bridezilla". How anyone thinks their behavior is "okay" because they're "brides" and "under stress" is beyond me. I can't watch anymore; they make me too mad.
