Clearly a sign of mental instability Listening to Amy Winehouse and I suddenly think[More:] "you know, her husband's in jail on Vallentines day. I bet she and I would get along, mine was, too, a couple times."

*sigh*
Hmm. I don't think Amy Winehouse cares so much that her husband is in prison. I mean, hasn't she been hanging out with Pete Doherty or something?

Oh. And hugs to you, kellydamnit. Big hugs.

Hm... maybe not so much since her dad slugged him.
But, she did look good (read: sober!) at the grammys.

Is that the first shout-out to someone in jail in grammy history?

Anyone else think she is a great performed sober, and were disappointed anyway?

Well, there's always Britney.

Amy's ok. She sure wins the irony prize, since they tried to make her go to rehab and she said No, well, okay. Was there ever another songwriter so hoisted by their own petard?

Is there any youtube/video/thingie of her performance online? My google-fu is failing me. I'd like to see her non-shitfaced.

So true about that song too.

As long as you're watching Winehouse clips on Youtube, be sure to check out the version of 'Beat It' that she and Charlotte Church sang on Church's tv show. It's, uh, something to see.

Thanks bp! Hmmm, yeah she's sober, and better but I'm still more impressed by her background singer/dancers.

I nominate Roger Daltry's "I hope I die before I get old".
