carnage Guardian decides to get a young hip writer for their travel blog. Only the readers spot that it's one of the writer's sons...carnage follows.

I'm not sure I understand the issue. His dad got him the job? I mean, I'd be jagged off if I had applied for the job and not gotten it but why would anyone else care? The Guardian is a private company.

There might be a bit of grumbling even if the writing were scintillating - but since it's completely boring and naive, I think that's where the rub is.
