I've got a friend who just came back from the hospital after having a lump on her neck examined. They're going to have it biopsied. I'm feeling really scared too.

MuddDude and I trekked over to the hospital earlier. My friend was asleep when we got there, but the nurse let us wake him up. He looked good - said he was feeling much better (although that was probably the morphine drip ...) He looked eager to come home, and it seemed like they were just waiting on some test results to figure out the next step. He's pretty sure that he'll get to leave sometime tomorrow. Thankful for the book, but turned down the DS (dude is probably pretty grateful to get an excuse to sleep for 12-14 hours a day).

Honestly, he also seemed surprised that anyone would fuss over him. We work in the same building, and his boss and coworkers know we're friends, so people have been stopping me all day to ask if I've seen him, if he's feeling better, etc. He's a quiet, reserved person, and I don't think he realizes how many people care for him.

((((hadjiboy and his friend)))) Waiting for biopsy results is def. the WORST kind of waiting. My fingers and toes are crossed in hopes that it all goes well.
