What WepApp Would a Woodchuck Dev? I am looking for ideas for a new website.

I am learning
Django, and in the middle of developing 2 for-pay applications, and feel a need to stretch my wings a bit. Plus, Santiago is dead in February so I have a bit of time on my hands.
I would like to create a new, cool site, mostly for the fun of it and as a way to develop my developer skills, put my name out there, etc.
I have an idea for an improved 2.0-ey film listing site for Santiago (my hometown) as all the existing ones suck (say, web 0.1 at best). Not sure if this is the sexiest possible idea, though.
So, any ideas for a database-driven website you think it would be worth spending a few weeks tinkering on? The next facebook, maybe?
Some guidelines:
0) I'd like to create something interesting, get some visibility, maybe make some cash off of ads or something. Ideally, sell it for a million bucks at some point.
1) I'm in Chile, which could be seen as a problem (far away from everything, small country) or an opportunity (web sites here are still like circa 1997). The site wouldn't have to be circumscribed to Chile or Latin America, but it could be. It could be in English or Spanish or both.
2) Not looking to save the world, help any good causes, feed anybody, etc. The site doesn't necessarily
have to be evil, but if it is, what the hey.
3) It would start out as a strictly one-man enterprise (with my wife to critique and proof read, natch).
Any acted-on ideas will be credited in the final site, of course.
