i love that a platypus can hurt you bad. i knew about the rest, some too well. i got hugged by a chimp once. It wanted a hug. You give a chimp a hug if he wants a hug, there is no debating it as he will reach out and grab you with surprising reach and unstoppable force. It was the look of open fear on his keepers face that got to me.

Last night i found out hyenas are in the mongoose family, which for some reason i find remarkably cool and weird.

I believe it's a bite first, mullacc. And after you're bitten into two pieces, then the hippo does a dance to grind you into dust. From what I've heard.

*eyes butterflies suspiciously - possibly laced with poison?*

Platapusses? How 'bout Shrews? They have the same - although less potent - venum as cobras! Their in our own lawns, people. Right in our front lawns!
