In this thread we recommend music Trying to find some new tunes[More:]Suggest a band or song. Or a few. I'll give anything a listen.
I kinda like Vampire Weekend, although they seem to be an either love or hate proposition.

These links to A-Punk and The Kids Don't Stand a Chance should still be good.

Thanks, Shane!

For my part, I've been listening to this song by ORThey on MeFi Music on repeat for two days basically. Yeah, I do that.

O rite. The LINK. Heh. Don't mind me, I'm in an antibiotics fuzz.

This way lies deliciousness. I am totally ORthey's new groupie.

No problem! If you like those, you'll like the whole CD. I'll check out ORThey. Soon.

I love the magnetic fields, don't have any of their stuff since my old computer died. Thanks, BP!

I'm loving Anouk's new album, Who's Your Momma.

And judging by the video for Good God I desperately want to be her friend. Just thinking about raiding her closets makes me weak in the knees.

Bon Iver is going to rock this year. (True mp3 is on this link.)

It's from last year, but I'm loving Panda Bear.

i think everything i've finally got a chance to listen to is old, but i do think i have an affinity with anything having to do with bears in the name.
i should break down, pay for an app and do one of my listen along program ideas on the radio.

I don't have any music to recommend. But I wanted to publicly agree that ORthey's music is awesome.

That Orthey is just wonderful. Thank you!

Adele is currently pretty big news in the UK. The album's not bad and she's got a pretty good voice. I've got the Vampire Weekend album on order - what I heard online sounded pretty good.

There's a load of new stuff out in Feb and March, so hopefully (as long as I can afford it), there'll be lots to listen to.

Quinn Walker sort of Josh Pearson meets flaming lips. The Hood Internet's mash-ups of skinny white kid indie with bootylicious R & B is still rocking my world.

Kazumasa Hashimoto. Two tracks: Mr. Gleam and Gllia, from his 2006 CD, also called Gllia, which is my favourite release of his to date.

Grayson Capps for tear your heart out straight southern blues.

(Plus we went to college together. He's amazing.)

Wow, thanks guys! Awesome a bunch of stuff to listen to and check out. If I could just take this song off repeat... :)

I also realized I linked the WRONG ORthey link (though I have downloaded about eight of them).

This is the song I have been listening to for THREE DAYS. They might put me in hospital like that crazy british lady who listened to I Will Always Love You thousands of times.
