05 February 2008

I still have no idea who I'm voting for. And I need to vote in an hour. This feels weird. I hate not having things decided. What do you need to decide today?
occhiblu, just breathe, and let yourself listen to your gut when you get in the voting booth. It'll do the right thing. It sounds like your brain is overloaded - let the gut decide.

I am luxuriously decision free, since I decided to call in sick to work. I guess I need to decide if I really am going to tackle a closet, and if so, which one.

I vote in a caucus on Sunday, and I'm very very settled about my decision. I'm also off work today. I expect my toughest decisions will be what type of workout to do, and where to go tonight to watch election returns come in.

I took two online quizzes, and they both told me to vote for the same person. Easy.

Yeah, that's my plan. I just always get hugely anxious when I don't have a decision made; I am getting better at dealing with uncertainty, and it's still a struggle.

I do have a guest pass at a fancy gym for this evening, however, so I have that to look forward to. I love fancy gyms.

Well, I don't need to decide toDAY, but I think pretty soon I need to decide if I wanna stay where I am or move on.

JanetLand, geographically, career-ily, emotionally, spiritually? Some combination thereof?

Also, it seems to be freezing today (seriously, 38F in San Francisco? I don't approve), I don't think my school has the heater working yet, so I need to decide how much of a dork I want to look like in terms of how many layers I pile onto myself.

I'm at work; no big decisions anticipated. Perhaps what to have for lunch. And here in NC we don't get to vote until May, when the big decisions have all been made for us. So no decisions there either! Yay! I'm decision free!

Today I must decide what to take out of my "to pack for the trip to the ski cabin that Boy is taking me on" pile. I must also decide a pattern for the nephew's quilt because his welcome-to-the-world fete is in March and the quilt must done by then!

I need to decide whether to take a nap now so that I can function at work tonight, or whether to go to the main square in town and see Felipe Calderon give a speech for Constitution Day.

I have a feeling the nap is going to win

My biggest decision today is going to be if I'm going to have another cup of hot chocolate this afternoon.

I don't get to vote in the primary next Tuesday. :(

my biggest decision I had to make today was what I wanted for lunch. Thundercloud won by a landslide even the it was trailing in the polls as late as an hour ago when it was looking like Matts El Rancho had it in a lock.

oh my god. Birdherder, I had completely forgotten the joy of Thundercloud. Maybe I'll spring for a sandwich at lunch (although it won't be the same).
posted by crush-onastick 05 February | 12:48
Ok, I need details: What's Thundercloud?

occhiblu: geographically, but the career and emotion stuff would be involved (fortunately I am not spiritual). I'm getting tired of snow and not having any family nearby.

JanetLand, you have a new pre-fab friend from the computer now if you come home!

occiblu: it's a sandwich shop in austin. I don't know that it's really any better than any localized subway competitor (I really hate subway), but I'd forgotten that I used to love to stop there on my way back from class.

What makes Thundercloud better than other sandwhich places is the people that work there. You can just tell they don't do drug tests.
posted by birdherder 05 February | 16:03
Oh man, Thundercloud people. I forgot about them.

Sanitation-wise, stoned white dudes with dreadlocks aren't really the best choice for your sandwich-making crew.

I'm a bit broke, so I'll probably ask the ward heeler who to vote for in exchange for a dollar.

Do ward heelers wear funny hats or something? How do I know I'm not getting scammed if I take money from one?
