Ha, I remember seeing this bit years ago, getting to the bit where he's going off about that Li'l Jon "sweat drips off my balls" song and going, "Oh, you're just mad because your parody has become reality, Chris!"*

But it's true, you have to put up with some staggeringly stupid lyrics if you want to keep up with radio hip-hop. The same is true, of course, with mainstream rock**. I listened to mainstream hip-hop for many years, mostly for the occasional amazing beats/production value, but it really seems as though some line of ultra-mega-stupidity has been crossed recently, and now I just can't hang at all.

*CB4 was terrible.
**There are no redeeming qualities in today's mainstream rock.
