At some point last night, I woke up out of a dead sleep and said to myself, "Tomorrow I've got to find a way to work the word ________ into a conversation."→[More:]

I woke up again later and said, "Hmm, but wait, is it actually a real word? I can't remember." Dozed off, roused myself, decided to google it. Then I was like, "Duh, I'm in bed, and my brain is not connected to the internet." So I let it rest until morning.

I thought of it again when I woke up, and re-committed myself to googling said word.

Trouble is, I can't for the *life* of me remember now what the word is. It started with a P (Pr____, I think), had three syllables, and I think it had a double-O in the last syllable.

It's driving me a little bit crazy.

Boy oh boy, I have that sleepy revelation (or similar) about thrice weekly, and more often during end-of-term crunch time. I'll lie in bed waiting for sleep, constructing a section of my current paper in my head --- before fuzzily recollecting that I can't type it with my brain.
