Does anybody take Zyrtec D? So, after getting the whole "it's prescription...unlike Zyrtec" to "OH...wait no you're right, it is OTC like regular Zyrteec" run-around at CVS--it turns out they don't have any Zyrtec D in for me to even buy.→[More:]

UGH. It's one thing to no longer cover it on my insurance, but for my medicine to just disappear? Sucks.

Has anybody seen Zyrtec D (not regular Zyrtec) on shelves anywhere? I'm really hacked off that I'm going to have to call around looking for it now.

The D usually, in allergy pills parlance, means it has ephedrine in it.
So, depending on what state you are in, it may be behind the pharmacy counter. Or not available at all.

Yeah, true--but they don't have the cards out either. And the CVS confirmed they're not stocking it yet.

I imagine it probably will end up behind the counter, which just adds to my annoyance really :/

And really, are there some states that aren't selling psuedoephedrine meds at all now? Because that is cruel and unusual punishment for sinus congestion sufferers.

In Canada we have neither CVS nor Zyrtec. Here they call it Reactine and it's been otc for a billion years. The end. Good luck! Allergy-ness sucks. :(

divka, I know! I didn't know about it, either, until a friend of mine went to visit friends on Oregon. They don't at all there, apparently. She had to drive over the state line to Washington for allergy meds just to survive the visit in the cat filled hours.
