OMG! are they your photos? They're magical! I'm a total child when it comes to snow. I lived on the South coast of Ireland where snow was a once in 10 years kinda thing. I'm amazed at the technique. How many spoiled shots per gem? so many questions, so little time!

I've been meaning to make snowflake slides for years, but I just haven't gotten around to it. When we have kids I plan to make it a priority.

Excellent link - thanks. They are beautiful, and they remind me of a book / record combination my grandfather gave us about the science of snow. He always gave some sort of science-related gifts, which was cool.
