Radiating face? Ow. I was just looking at recipes for homemade facial scrubs/masks, one of which advises: Try equal parts of honey and cornmeal, mixed thoroughly. Your face will feel very smooth and will radiate.

So. That's your fun tip of the day; hope it helps.

And, if you don't wash it off, that mask of ants that swarms over your face will give you a healthy formic acid peel too.

My fave: almost equal parts brown sugar (farin/rouch sugar/raw sugar) and sesame seed oil - stir together and make it as "Rough" as you want (that's why I say "roughly equal").

Scrub body and face, shower off. Feel like silk.

ooh, that sounds good, dabitch. I'm still having trouble finding sesame oil here (toasted, that is; I can find the flavorless kind). I did manage to buy a teenyweenyittybitty bottle for more than I used to pay for a litre in Thessaloniki. O, Kosmas Deli, I miss you so!

Today I did a sugar scrub, and a honey mask. Feels pretty nice. Tastes good, too.

dabitch, that trick sounds awesome. I like the *idea* of your tip, Taz, but honey makes me break out. I was reminded of this fact sadly a few years ago, when my dad went on vacay and brought me back ~100 bucks worth of the amazing silky royal jelly body creme from L'Occitane. I don't see it on the site now, it's niiiice, even though it made me a little hivey. Which is hilarious considering we're talking about bees here. I gave it all to a friend of mine who was very happy to use it and then make me touch her skin to feel how soft it felt.

I'm going to try it on my butt. I want my butt to radiate.

Oh, but it does, my little firefly.

Yeah, sailors and hikers can probably navigate by it.
