You see, if you listened to my MeCha Radio shows, you'd have heard it a couple times in the last few weeks. It is, indeed, one of the Greatest Mashups Of All Time, IMHO.
That is an excellent song, and that whole album is really good. I love the first two songs (which bleed into each other like one song), but damn if I can remember the titles right now. I suck at titles anyway.
Okay, I went to look up The Avalanches in one of my secret sources and stumbled over ANOTHER band called the Avalanches from 1963 who played an odd mix of muzak and surf music in a single album titled "Ski Surfin'", that oddly includes instrumental covers of two of the songs on my "Weather Mix Part 2"... I may have to try to fetch these oddities and throw them into the mix...
