She actually sounded off-pitch to me, but I don't have a very good ear, so I could be wrong about that.

On the other hand, given that I don't have a very good ear and she sounded off to me, I'm guessing she may have been *really* off.

But she seems like a very cool person!

One of my grad school classmates tried out. They didn't show her audition, but I suspect that she may have been in a crowd shot, wearing a lobster suit.

Guy from my high school was on season 3. Got eliminated in the first 24, I think, was brought back for a wild card show, only to be told on air, oh, by the way, we brought back 12 for this show and only 10 get to sing, and you're one of the 2 who came all the way here for nothing. Really really dumb.

The picks at this stage seem a little random. She seemed good, but not particularly good. (But that was true of some people who got through.)

Aw she's really cute! I think her nerves might have affected her pitch (yes it seemed to crack at times).
