Back in Colorado. With a photo.→[More:]
I took a quick trip to visit a friend in North Carolina. It's cold there! While there I got to see Richard Thompson play in Charlotte where he was doing his "1000 Years of Popular Music" show with Judith Owen and Debra Dobkin. It was a fantastic concert, and afterwards Richard Thompson and Judith Owen were signing autographs. Lucky me got a photo with them. Judith Owen was impressed that I came all the way out from Colorado for the show. Richard Thompson wasn't. He said "so did we".

Anyways, I had a great time.

I've seen RT a few times. One of the best live performers I've ever seen, either solo or with a band.

Heh, Miko, RT and I are both smartasses, so there's a start.

Actually, how it went was my friend told him I flew in just for the concert. Hence his comment "so did we". I of course being the smartass that I am said "looking outside, I thought you came by bus!" heh. Then we snapped the picture. He's just chewing on another smartass retort, I can tell.
