I love the way he'll suddenly stop and start eating a bit of grass, then start digging again.

essexjan- yes! And then have a little wash up- so cute!

I never let my rabbit dig because I figured I'd never see her again. It never occurred to me to put her on a leash.

I am still finding burrows from my long-since deceased bunny.

We started out being very careful, but after awhile, we let her sleep outside in her burrows, since I had to viturally play "bunny hockey" with a broom to get her in.

After 3 years, of this, a raccoon got her. Daughter was distraught, but she also reasoned that Licorice got 3 years of freedom. A good life.

I wish Slipper Steve liked his harness. And I had a yard in which he could dig.

Great video. It was kinda cool to see just how rabbits go about making their warrens.

Years ago, when I had gerbils, I would fill a large old fish tank with dirt, pack it down, and let them have at it. They'd make all sorts of tunnels, and they were fascinating to watch. Sort of like an ant farm.

So, where's the easy chair and TV like in Bugs Bunny's hole? Is this poor bun roughing it?
