Lost Nuggets from the 80s - The Radio Show? Given the fairly decent response to this thread, I thought I might play a radio show along similar lines tomorrow. HOWEVER, →[More:]
I don't really want to go to all the trouble of putting together a set list and then have no one listen. Why? 'Cause I'm a lazy sod.

Due to my work schedule, I have two windows during which I can do this: 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM Friday (give or take - there's a little wiggle room there, as far as when I'd have to stop), and 12:00 AM - 2 AM saturday morning. (All times Pacific. You'll have to do the math yourself if you don't live here.)

So, my question to you is twofold:
1) Is there any interest in hearing such a show?
2) If so, which of those windows would work best?

(Given Science Girl's new job, the only time I get to see her is on the weekend, so Saturday and Sunday are pretty much off the menu.)

Argh! I won't be able to listen during that time tomorrow afternoon, and the late-night one is at 3 AM my time, so I likely won't be awake for it.

If you do it later or do a repeat, though, I'd love to hear it.

I like mecha radio, but it's rarely on when I can listen. Early evening (eastern time) is pretty much the only time I can listen. I'd love a 'lost 80s nuggets' show.

Well, we've hit a bit of a snag.

I had 3+ hours of tunes in a playlist and was winnowing it down to two, with the idea that I'd sequence things tonight after work. I'd gotten it down to about 2:35 or so when I attempted to remove a particular track and accidentally hit "remove all" instead.

GAH!!!!!!

Provided I don't slash my wrists in the next ten minutes, I'm gonna need to leave for work. So, IF I can pull together a playlist and sequence it tonight, I'll have something to play tomorrow. (And to zip and mail to box, as well.) We'll see what happens.

Alrighty, meine kinder. We have a mix that I'm relatively happy with, although it does run the tiniest bit long (2:14:20). If that's kosher, I'll give it a spin around 10:30 AM on Friday (Pacific time), and then zip up a copy and send it to box so's he can play it sometime when more folks can listen.
