Yeah, so?

I'm clearly bad at teh gay!
I read the first one "Hard top: Firm Bottom, Pure LA" or whatever as referring to silicone-enhanced starlets.

The Embassy Suites ad made me laugh. Not because it was gay, but because who goes to Embassy Suites for anything romantic? Which I guess makes it the perfect spot for some sort of illicit affair? So maybe they're trying to suggest that GOP politicians conduct their gay affairs at Embassy Suites, where no one will suspect a thing (except the other readers of Secretly Gay GOP magazine).

Wilder, I think that's what they originally intended. Some of the others work equally well in gay and non-gay contexts.

I thought Radar missed the fact that Volvos and Subarus are heavily favored by lesbians.

The best ad was either the Air Canada (just a good-looking ad, regardless of the symbolism) or the "We're Just as Excited" Volvo one (for sheer cheekiness, and again not necessarily "gay"). Worst was definitely the hot dog ad (ripped off from that European liquor campaign regardless).
