My jasmine is flowering!! Outside. In winter. In LONDON. And it's not winter jasmine. It's like a special xmas gift from globally-warmed nature.

It's a Christmas miracle! A jasmine smelling Christmas miracle!

And here is another Christmas miracle: we have achieved apple pie! With homemade pie crust! Because Greece doesn't have ready-made-stickitintheoven crusts, because Greece doesn't have pies that aren't pitas. This is the first time in about 12 years we're having Western-style pie, since I've had PTSD from the last time I tried to make pie crust, lo these many years ago.

But we did it! And we're so psyched, we may make another one for our neighbors tomorrow. May peace, flowering jasmine, and apple pie blessings be upon us all.
