ZOMG! New Camera! The BF and I had Christmas last night and I got a digital SLR! Wheeeeee!!!!→[More:]
I took a few pictures last night while I was figuring out the settings. The resolution is so awesome. 10 megapixels! I want to take pictures of everything, but there aren't so many interesting things around the house. We're having Christmas at the BF's sister's house tonight, so I should have more pictures later. I AM SO EXCITED!!!!

The lego things are from a kit we bought for our roommate. We had fun building them.

The lego things are really cool. They have special parts with joints that move so you can move the frog's legs and the whale's fins and tail. Legos have come a long way since I was a kid.

Yup, the camera was the only thing I asked for from him. I can't wait to give him his big gift... That will be tonight at his sister's place. And I will reveal it here later. He's at work and could be reading this if he's bored. I love giving people things that they really want.

I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with it! Make yourself read the book; you'll get a lot more out of it if you can get used to shooting in manual.
